Job Title: Dispatch Analyst (Drayage Dispatcher)

Job Description: As a Drayage Dispatcher, you are the "air traffic controller" of our port and rail operations. You will be responsible for the seamless movement of containers between US ports, rail ramps, and warehouses. Your mission is to beat the clock: coordinating drivers and equipment while navigating port congestion to avoid costly demurrage and detention fees.

Key Responsibilities

• Load Dispatching: Coordinate and manage daily drayage loads for owner-operators and company drivers, ensuring maximum efficiency.
• Port & Rail Coordination: Schedule container pickups and returns at major US ports and rail yards, strictly adhering to vessel cut-offs and Last Free Days.
• Appointment Management: Proactively use port portals (eModal, Advent, etc.) to secure terminal appointments and monitor container availability.
• Risk Mitigation: Track Demurrage, Detention, and Per Diem risks daily to ensure zero unnecessary costs for the company or clients.
• Equipment Control: Monitor chassis usage and equipment status to prevent shortages that could stall operations.
• Real-Time Tracking: Provide constant updates to customers regarding delays, port congestion, or delivery confirmations.
• Data Integrity: Enter and maintain accurate records in Port Pro System (TMS), ensuring all documentation is processed for billing and compliance.
• Problem Solving: Rapidly resolve operational "fire drills" such as missed appointments, equipment shortages, or terminal closures.



Required Skills:
What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Communication: Advanced/Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must. You will be talking to US-based drivers and port officials daily.
• Experience: Proven experience in US Drayage/Intermodal operations. You should know the difference between a PierPass and a Pre-pull.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Logistics TMS (experience with Port Pro System is a plus) and port terminal websites.
• Mindset: A high-energy "problem solver" who can handle the stress of port congestion with a customer-service-first attitude.

International Logistics Lead


Job Title: International Logistics Lead

Job Description: This role will also lead and develop the logistics team, aligning efforts with corporate objectives and maintaining high service standards.

Required Skills:
Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end logistics management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all import/export processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. customs and international trade regulations.
• Supply chain optimization: Implement strategies to improve costs, delivery times, traceability, and overall efficiency in global logistics flows.
• Team leadership: Direct, coach, and motivate the logistics team, assigning responsibilities and ensuring achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Talent management: Conduct interviews, oversee recruitment processes, training, and performance evaluations for logistics staff.
• Stakeholder management: Maintain effective communication with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and both internal and external clients.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure all operations comply with international trade agreements, U.S. customs requirements, and internal company policies.
• Risk management and issue resolution: Anticipate and resolve potential issues related to delays, documentation, additional costs, or regulatory restrictions in international operations.
• Reporting and analysis: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and efficiency, while recommending continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Administration, or related fields.
• Experience:
• At least 5 years of proven experience in international logistics (import/export with the U.S.).
• Previous experience leading teams and managing talent (recruitment, feedback, and performance management).
• Strong background working with international vendors, customs brokers, and transport providers.

Knowledge:

• U.S. customs regulations and international trade compliance.
• Proficiency in international documentation (B/L, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Logistics KPIs, cost control, and supply chain optimization.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with logistics management software (ERP, WMS, TMS, SAP, or similar).
• CargoWise experience is considered a strong plus.
