Job Title: Accounts Payable & Receivable Analyst

Job Description: Accounts Payable & Receivable Analyst responsible for freight billing, supplier invoice processing, account reconciliation, payment follow-up, vendor coordination, and financial reporting for air, ocean, and inland logistics operations.

Billing & Accounts Receivable:

• Prepare and issue invoices related to air, ocean, and inland freight services.
• Ensure billing aligns with contractual terms, quotes, and service agreements.
• Perform follow-ups with clients to ensure timely payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date client account statements and track aging reports.

Accounts Payable:

• Review and process supplier invoices related to international freight operations (shipping lines, airlines, truckers, customs brokers, etc.).
• Verify accuracy against purchase orders and service confirmations.
• Coordinate timely payments and maintain vendor relationships.

General Functions

• Reconcile accounts and investigate variances.
• Work closely with operations and customer service teams to validate service completion and cost accuracy.
• Generate periodic financial and KPI reports for management.
• Maintain digital and physical records in compliance with accounting policies.

Required Skills:
Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts payable or receivable, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of multimodal transport services (air, ocean, inland).
• Technical or university degree in Accounting, Finance, International Trade, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software (experience with CargoWise is a plus).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic English skills (intermediate preferred for client/vendor communication).

• Mobility: Valid visa for travel to/from the United States is required for event attendance and client meetings.
• Track Record: Proven success in consultative selling and closing complex, high-ticket deals.
• Communication: Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills.
